I don’t know how to thank you for what you’ve done for me and my family. I don’t know what words to use to communicate the deep gratitude I feel for everything. I am absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness and personal care you’ve shown us. This has been the most challenging time for us and your presence and support has given us so much comfort and strength. Words fail me now as I try and communicate just what you have meant to us. Please just know that all of us will be forever thankful. Dr. Ashish was kind enough to allow me to see my mother as I left the hospital. It was one of the most difficult things I’ve done. I had to be so strong for her and yet deal with the haunting image of her laid up there fighting for her life . What I also saw was how comfortable she was. How well looked after .

It bought my heart a lot of peace as I sat there petting her hand and kissing her cheek. She looked so happy to see me and was able to have a short conversation. She also told me how she was well taken care of and how fantastic all her doctors and nurses had been. Thank you for taking such good care of my mother. Thank you for having such wonderful and kind staff. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to see her. I will always treasure that moment with her no matter the outcome of this saga. For me , I know I might not be here today if I didn’t get that bed that day. If I’m alive and well today it’s because every doctor and nurse and ward boy took such special care of me during my stay. I felt completely enveloped and secure at a time when I genuinely thought I was done for. As I re-read this letter , the words feels inadequate. They don’t communicate all that I feel but I don’t think they can. So I shall hope that perhaps you can peak behind them and just know my heart. Thank you for being so kind.
